Low Boy Big Band Jam Session

The Low Boy Big Band performs Groove Merchant by Thad Jones and Mel Lewis as part of their Jam Session at Saint-Graal. The band rehearses and performs under the direction of Raphael Roy-Dumouchel. We have made a number of “conference style” recordings since last March which are posted on their Facebook page.

Mont-Royal Youth Orchestra

The Mount-Royal Youth Orchestra brings together four separate ensembles with one shared goal: making great music in great company! I have been at the head of their newest group, the Wind Ensemble, since its creation in 2019, and was part of the Symphony Orchestra between 2016 and 2019. Once a year, at the Holiday Gala Concert, all four ensembles (Symphony Orchestra, Dolce Musica, String Ensemble and Wind Ensemble) gather on one stage - just barely - to play the final piece of the night under the baton of the Artistic Director Jean MacRae.
